We would want our dentist to see us as individuals
To know us personally and not merely treat us as a chart number or ”the next patient”. We would want our dentist to foster this relationship by knowing what is important to us and respecting us as individuals. And we wouldn’t want to be taken for granted, even years into the relationship.
We would want our dentist to have a genuine concern for our comfort before, during and after our treatment. We would want our dentist to have thoroughly mastered pain-free dental techniques.
We are sticklers for quality. We are even willing to pay a little more if we are receiving top-of-the-line treatment. These teeth are the only ones we’ll ever have, so we wouldn’t choose our dentist because his or her fees were the lowest. We would choose a dentist who could provide us with the highest level of care, which is what we feel we deserve.
We would appreciate someone who is caring and gentle in all the details of our treatment. So, what we want as a dental patient is what we hope you want, because the result of this kind of treatment is our true goal: optimal dental health and appearance. If you want this kind of care, we would be happy to provide your dental care.
